After Effects kurs for viderekomne (NO).Like I mentioned above.I checked and tested a ton of things. I monitored my CPU temps and they would climb pretty high before the hard freezing. Games continued to hard lock my pc so after I switched my Power Settings to Balanced, that fixed the last issue. I tried upgrading the GPU to the GTX 970 (I didn't know much about what could be causing these issues so thought using CUDA to export videos would help). This stopped hard freezes from happening. One potential fix is changing the Power Settings of the PC. Even some easy fixes that you might not have tried too. There are a few things that could be happening. Would that be causing the issue? I'm kind of dumb when it comes to the hardware. I was told by a member of this community on this post that my mobo and CPU aren't the same chipset iirc.

  • Changing overclock settings in BIOS (because for some reason, they were set to overclock even though I don't need that and it was causing blue screens) down to regular and even tried power saver.
  • Stressing the video card with FurMark.
  • 12 GB DDR3 RAM (Kingston HyperX Fury Red - one 8GB and one 4GB stick).
  • And even different software doesn't keep this from happening. It doesn't crash while editing, or gaming, or browsing with like 15 tabs open, or anything like that. For some reason giving it something else to do makes it more reliable, but that causes a much slower render and a much slower experience in whatever else I do. Earlier I went to lay down with my boyfriend and came back to a frozen computer when I left it render only. Like right now, it's rendering out our 3DS footage into two videos for editing and it's going fine. Same randomness.īut here's the weird part: it almost never freezes when I'm doing something else while it's rendering. The only way to unfreeze it is to hit the power button and I hate doing that.Īlso, I should mention when we used Camtasia, it did the same thing. Never throwing any errors or blue screening or anything like that.

9 times out 10, it fucking freezes my entire computer mid-render. I like to leave my stuff render over night. That's a really confusing title, I know, but it's the only way to explain my problem in a short title.īasically, I use Adobe Premiere CS6 for editing and Adobe Media Encoder for rendering.
